Confessions of Raven the Prowler: A Cairn Game Actual-Play Write-Up! (Part 1)

I, Raven, of clear mind and soul, hereby put down my full confession should I perish on the road, in my bed, or more likely, in some dank sewer somewhere. I have done nothing wrong. Here are my words.

Rumor came of lost treasure deep below Castle Cromlech doing no one any good. While the current castle keepers did battle against a slighted dragon, Izzy and I dug around. Discarded in a pit was our prize; buried further into the back of some strange creature.

Things get dark here. I nearly swore some oaths, according to Iz. The creature woke up when we pulled the prize out, but other than its freedom it asked for nothing in return for the blade, so naturally I took it.

We got out of the fire before the entire place took off; Iz and I and a little kobold digger. Hid out in the woods for a time, then split up. Best little digger I ever saw. Iz is going to pray on it but doesn’t think she’s worthy of the prize. I’ll put it to bed and we’ll be better for it.
