Frank Miller, I Am Disappoint

Early on day one of the NYCC, people formed a line to receive green wristbands. Only the first 100 would receive these paper Day-Glo bands, and with them, a chance to meet Frank Miller and get two items autographed. Miller would sign from 4pm to 5pm. It would be his only appearance at the event. Unfortunately, just a few hours afterward, the Dark Horse booth began announcing that Miller had canceled due to illness. Dark Horse dropped a promo piece of Miller’s upcoming Xerxes, originally priced at $10 for Comic Con, to $5, and to $2 for the especially disappointed 100 who would not get their copies of Sin City and 300 signed.
