#DisneyPower #MarchMadness Round Four – Elite Eight

Dragon vs Octopus

[Click here for our podcast review of Round 3 with color commentary.]

Welcome to Round 4 for Non-Productive.com‘s March Madness competition to determine the most powerful Disney character of all time!

The Third Round weeded the field of our remaining Disney characters so that we are left with only eight truly powerful contenders! Each earned their spot in our competition through a combination of significance, longevity, and general bad-assery.

And as always, your rambling comments and justifications are just as important as your votes! Everyone at NonPro is eagerly reading between the lines of each nomination, seed, and vote in the desperate attempt to make sense of just why someone considers one character more powerful than another, but of course you can clear it all up by volunteering to tell us your motivation in the box below each of the games below!

For this year’s nerd-centric March Madness, we’re asking you, the geeks of the world, to decide once and for all which Disney character is the most powerful of them all! And “powerful” is big word – it can mean infinite cosmic abilities like Genie, a breakout star like Olaf, a legendary icon like Mickey, or a character that breaks molds to inspires us like Mulan.

Share and come back often to see how our competition progresses!

Game 1

Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty

VS.

Ursula from The Little Mermaid

I think we say this every round, but we would 1000% pay to see this movie. Imagine the giant Dragon/Cthulhu monster battle in the final act?? Isn’t it great?!

Game 2

Mulan from Mulan

VS.

The Incredibles from The Incredibles

Ouch! Mulan saved her country, her family’s honor, and herself; she is an incredibly significant character. The Incredibles saved the world, and showed us what a family can do when they work together; Pixar returned the focus on art and storytelling back into animation. Tough battle!

Game 3

Hades from Hercules

VS.

Mickey Mouse from Fantasia and Cartoon Shorts

Can the god of death defeat the immortal mouse?

Game 4

Mary Poppins from Mary Poppins

VS.

Genie from Aladdin

If anyone can put the Genie back in the bottle, it’s Mary!
